While several of his peers supposedly left Friday’s Christmas Weekend basement party dateless and disappointed, first-year student Trent Kallen had “the best night of his college career” with his date, hall mate Kaylee Marshall, who he had asked just hours before Friday night’s events. When asked about his success relative to his friends, he answered, “Anyone can get lost in there… the fact that we stayed together shows that our relationship is strong enough to overcome any adversity.”
Save-the-date cards have already been placed under the doors of various freshman rooms — as is tradition, Kallen and Marshall’s wedding will take place in Lee Chapel after graduation. “The only thing we’re unsure about,” Kallen claimed, “is whether or not she’s going to take my surname.” –Lukas Campbell ‘19
