Fraternity throws curveball by hiring relevant, popular performer for party

Sigma Gamma Omicron proudly announced Tuesday that Quekumbr, with whom a few dozen members of the student body are familiar, would be headlining its weekend party and was sure to dazzle. The Wisconsin-based talent’s hit single “Mad Lit” peaked at #96 on the Billboard Hot 100 last spring.

This contrasts a recent trend in W&L fraternities hiring talents without any prior name recognition whatsoever, including The Who in the Hell, NonNominous, and DJ Copyright.

“It’s really exciting to be breaking tradition in such an exciting way,” stated Joseph Coiner, President of SGO. “We really hope that our turnout for this major social event exceeds our wildest expectations and launch us to lower-middle tier status.”

In other news, protests have broken out outside the SGO fraternity house following a sharp 250% increase in fraternity dues for the semester.
