As the old proverb goes, “if Walmart doesn’t have it, you don’t need it.” However, there are some key goods, services, and experiences that W&L students will willingly make a small pilgrimage for when the need arises. These may include:
- A cell phone store
- Whole Foods
- the cosmopolitan wonders of Waynesboro
- Chipotle
- Llamas
- A nonthreatening nail salon
- Your dog
- Apple, when the cell phone store can’t fix it
- a bizarre hibachi experience in Staunton
- A spray tan
- A litter of someone else’s dogs
- Target
The Radish
