Here at W&L, the massive student body makes registering for classes almost impossible, which begs the question: how will students inherit their family business? The school’s solution: 2 tributes from each Greek life organization compete in the “C-School Struggle.”
Competitions such as, “Most Generic Canvas Discussion Response”, “Best Name Dropper”, “Richest Daddy”, and “Tax Evasion Trivia” will determine which fraternity or sorority will have early access to Workday.
The Games will take place in neutral territory, the W&L law school library. All resources found there, including the law students, are fair game.
Each time a tribute is eliminated, their LinkedIn profile will be broadcasted to the school via mass Outlook email. This is intended to soften the blow and draw positive attention to those who lost, at the very least gaining them more connections to hit the coveted 500+ mark.
Students who actually participated in their MockCon delegation are eligible to prime law school sideline seating. Additionally, play-by-play updates will be found on the menu screens outside of Dhall and on the_instaguam. The Ring-tum Phi has agreed to partner with the Radish and publish an end of Game report.
The W&L Registrar offered, “With a school this large, The Games seem to be the only fair way we can determine who gets the classes they need to graduate on time. We’re looking forward to this inaugural competition.”
